THE HOMESTEADERS
My wife and I were both raised on rural Manitoba farms doing chores and creating our own entertainment like all farm kids of the time did. Today, we share this farm with a son, daughter-in-law and five grandchildren.  Homesteading has evolved to continue traditions passed from generation to generation. Some labor and time has been traded for machines or technology; but at the end of the day regardless of how much we hurry it takes time to grow our food!  We share our bounty of micro greens, chickens. free range eggs and animal products in the hope others will appreciate what wholesome food should taste like. We gladly sacrifice shelf life so we can eat food and other farm products without preservatives, chemicals or additives. We're trying to make reasonable lifestyle changes where possible to our diet.
